Working principle of plate heat exchanger
Plate heat exchanger is a kind of efficient heat exchange equipment, its working principle mainly depends on its unique structural design. Here's a detailed explanation:

 

Structure overview
Plate heat exchangers consist of a series of stacked metal sheets with a specific corrugated shape. Thin rectangular channels are formed between these plates, through which heat is exchanged. Four corner holes in the plate allow both hot and cold media to pass through.
Heat exchange process
During the assembly process, plates A and B are arranged alternately, and the gaps between plates are sealed by gaskets to ensure that the hot and cold media do not mix. Hot and cold fluids flow in channels and can be adjusted so that they flow in a countercurrent or downstream manner. In the flow process, the hot and cold fluids are exchanged through the plate wall to achieve the desired temperature effect.
peculiarity
1. Efficient heat transfer: the heat transfer coefficient of plate heat exchanger is 3-5 times higher than that of traditional shell and tube heat exchanger.
2. Compact structure: the floor area is only 1/5 to 1/8 of the shell and tube heat exchanger.
3. Easy maintenance: The bundle can be easily removed for cleaning by loosening the compression bolt.
4. Small heat loss: Because only the shell plate of the heat transfer plate is exposed to the atmosphere, the heat loss is negligible.
5. Light weight: the thickness of the plate is only 0.4-0.8mm, and the overall weight is light.
6. Not easy to scale: the internal turbulence is sufficient, not easy to scale.
